Since olden times cities appear in the natural environment. They appear along rivers and forests as small settlements. Today city gradually supplants the nature from its territory and dominates.
Urban and natural environments begin interact in the process of coexistence. They are able to destroy each other. Natural science museum has to become the barrier or the filter between these two worlds. Nature penetrates on the site grabs it and there meets the town and the museum.
Natural environment affects geometry of the building, corrodes it as metal bar under water. Vertical copper facade creates a sense of wall, which protect "lost world" from external influence. The purpose of the natural science museum is to explore the world around. All galleries and exhibition spaces are oriented to park, to create a visual and spiritual link between the exhibits of museum and their habitat.
